31/8/14 Local Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com reported that his clients caught 2 Trout and that it was hard going with a strong SW wind blowing up the lake, so on that note we will head upstream to the world  famous Butler Pool, where there were 2 Salmon taken on the fly. Now for the Sea Trout catch of the day and to get all the facts we head to the upper lakes and Lough Cloonaghlin, where Mr. Sean Brick of Tralee caught 6 Sea trout ranging from Junior class up to 4 ½ lbs.
