 June 17, 2025. A few trout were caught on the lake today, with seven boats present. There were several early anglers on the Commeragh this morning as well as some in the evening; at least one salmon was reported caught. The Inny also attracted a number of anglers this afternoon and evening; however, no catches have been reported thus far. The river level was receding steadily after experiencing significant flooding last night.

Regarding angling practices:

Hello Vince, I was under the impression that worm fishing is prohibited on both the Commeragh and Inny rivers. Regards,
