23: 2025. I start today’s notes on the sad news that Currane C&R fly angler
Mr. Ronan Grady, RIP of Lismorris. Lissycassey of Co Clare sadly passed away yesterday to the Heavenly clear waters
as the fish run freely, as Ronan and his fellow Heavenly fly anglers catch and
release their heavenly fish. May Ronan Rest In Peace. Ronan was a regular
angler to the Waterville fishery and on behalf of the Currane anglers and the
good people of Waterville and Kerry we send our Sincere Sympathies to all his
family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by the fishing community.
Now head out
on to Lough Currane and here are the facts of the day. There were 6 boats out,
two Salmon were reported caught on the troll and few trout caught and released
on the drift. Now to today’s Currane weather conditions wind variable gentle to
moderate ESE veered SE, SSE, S, followed by reasonable cloud cover at times. Yesterday’s
weather, amount of rainfall 0.0mm, maximum air temperature 15,0°C,
amount of sunshine 10
minutes 2 minutes.
