September 20, 2025: There was notable activity on the Waterville fishery today. The day began on the Commeragh River, where two anglers were observed, although no official reports of their fishing outcomes have been received. Moving downstream to the Currane area, a variety of trout were successfully caught while drifting. Regarding the Inny, one catch-and-release (C&R) salmon was recorded by two C&R anglers. As for today's weather conditions at the Waterville fishery, winds varied from calm to light, gentle, fresh, and variable, with directions shifting from southeast through east-southeast, east-northeast, northeast, north-northeast, to north.
