Mr. Rob Elson of the UK, reported to me that the only bit of action he had was from a Kelt, and he was also telling me that he counted 20 boats out fishing on Lough Currane, and they all failed miserably in producing My Noble Gentlemen the Salmon. Wind NW light this morning and went flat calm this afternoon.

All quiet on the SW front. Wind S then veered SE fresh to strong with rain for most of the day.

Straight to the C&R Department, Mr. Anthony Breen, caught and released two Salmon one in the 11lbs class and finished the day off with a 9lbs Salmon, both were caught on the troll, and for the rest of we Anglers no comment. Wind NW light with the odd light shower. Just for the record there have been a few Kelt's caught in the past few days.

There was no Catch of the day on Lough Currane this St. Patrick’s Day, but the same couldn’t be Said for the St. Patrick’s Parade in Caherciveen. Wind NW light with bright sunshine.

The Lone Star Flag of Texas was flying high over Lough Currane today, when Mr. Justin McGee and his 12 year old son Master Riley McGee caught two Salmon on the troll weighing in at 9lbs and 11lbs fishing with their Gillie Mr. Dominic Mc Gillicuddy, and just for the record, Riley caught the biggest, so congratulations to Riley and his Dad.
