Straight to the Salmon and Sea Trout fly department, and catch of the day, and that goes to Young Archie Curnow of the UK, fishing with his Uncle John, they caught 5 Sea Trout, 3 Juniors, 3.5lbs and best of all a fine Sea Trout weighing in at 4lbs and just for the record that was Archie’s first Sea Trout, staying with the Sea Trout, Mr. Michael Smith of the UK and his Son Sean, caught 2 Sea Trout, with their Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and @ tomsfishing@eircom.net also in good form in the Sea Trout department, was local Gillie Mr. Bob priestly who caught 4 Sea Trout ranging from Juniors up to 2lbs. Now to the mixed bag department, Mr. Mark Knowles of the UK caught a 6lbs Grilse and finished his day off with a a fine Sea Trout in the 3 lbs class, Mark was fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy. Wind ENE then veered NW light with reasonable cloud cover with the odd light shower.
