There was some great action on Lough Currane today, so lets get to the action, Ireland’s number 1 specimen Sea Trout hunter, Mr. Sean Smith of the UK kept his reputation in style today, when he caught a fine 6.lbs.5oz Sea Trout on the fly at Church Island, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com now to the Salmon department, Mr. Michael Shultz of Berlin Germany and his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com   caught a fine 8 lbs. Salmon on the troll. Now to the fly department, Mr. Alistair Dunbar of Scotland and his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of www.fishingwithdom.com take all the headlines when they caught 2 fine Salmon, weighing in at 11 lbs and 9 lbs. respectably. Wind NW fresh and very cold with good cloud cover with heavy showers.
