Mr. Phil Staniforth
Lough Currane was in good form again in the fly department, so lets get down to the facts. First in the striking zone, was Mr. Phil Staniforth, with 3 Salmon to his rod, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com and just for the record they returned one, after they had their ration, they sportingly handed their fishing station to Mr. John Higgins and his Gillie Mr. Neil O‘Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com and it wasn’t long before they caught a fine Grilse. Also in good form again in the fly department was Mr. Andrew Brown, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley, caught a 5lbs Grilse. Now to the evening fly shift, Mr. Finbar McGillicuddy, caught a cracker of a Salmon, in the 14 lbs. Class while fishing with his Brother and renowned Gillie, yes you have it the one and only Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com
Now to the Sea Trout department, Mr, Sean Kestel and good friend James, caught 2 Juniors on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com staying with the Sea Trout Local Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com also caught 2 Sea Trout with his clients.
