16/6/14

Peter and Michael
16/6/14 Again my Noble Anglers had blazing sunshine and flat calm conditions this morning but this didn’t deter a few boats from venturing out and one or two Anglers are glad they did. Come lunch time there was a light SW wind, that is when there was a bit of action, first in the striking zone was Irish American, Mr. Peter McGrath of Milwaukee USA while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com caught a fine 8 lbs Salmon on the troll and finished their day off with a nice Sea Trout of 2 ½ lbs caught on the fly. Just for the record this was Peter’s first time fishing on Lough Currane, may it be the first of many visits. Now we cut across the lake to the south side and the hired out boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. Michael Heery, while fly fishing, caught 6 Sea Trout up to 3 ¾ lbs.
