29/7/15

Richard
Nick
29/7/15 We start at the famous Butler Pool and at www.watervillegolflinks.ie and in the words of Waterville House. Mr. Richard Corrigan enjoying fishing at the Butler's Pool, caught a 5 lb Salmon, on a Silver Stoat Fly and ably assisted by his Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com Now we head upstream to Lough Currane and the Salmon department. Mr. Nick Scot of Rome, Italy, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught a fine 5 lbs. 11 ozs Salmon / Grilse on a Red Ass Green Peter using a sinking line, Nick was telling me that there was a good wave at the time he struck his Salmon and had one hell of a good fight. Just for the record Nick was dabbling the two droppers when his fish took the point fly. Staying with Mr. Nick Scot and party, yesterday they were fishing the upper lakes of Lough Derriana and they caught a good few Brown Trout and finished their day off with a Sea Trout  of 2 ½ lbs. all on the fly. Wind was light variable with the odd shower.  Just for the record today’s pictures from the Butler’s Pool are courtesy of Waterville House and at www.watervillegolflinks.ie
