21/8/16

21/8/16 Sadly the weather takes all the headlines as my noble Anglers headed out for their days manipulations on Lough Currane and Lough Namona, all you can say their boats were lighter this evening as they burnt their fuel and ate their lunch baskets empty and hoping to find that allusive fish, be it on the fly or the troll. Now for their excuse for failing miserably in their duties, in the words of local Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind SW mad, on Lough Namona, local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com reported much of the same in all departments. Staying with the weather, its made a good flood so all eyes will be on the river front tomorrow be it the World famous Butler Pool of www.watervillegolflinks.ie the Mouth of the Commeragh, the Commeragh River and last but not least the great River Inny so let the fly and Spin take the headlines tomorrow.
This what the anglers thought of today's fishing
and this what the Limousin Bull thought of my
