18/8/17

18/8/17 Straight to the apology  backdate department to Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com and for good reason the Commander-in-chief Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats, sent me a text last week that an angler from the US while fishing with Michael caught two fine Sea Trout on the fly while drifting down by Darby’s Island, their weights were 1 ¾ lbs and 1 ½ lbs and both fish were returned to fight their way to the spawning grounds of the Commeragh and the surroundings streams of Lough Currane. Now back to the present, there were just a few boats out and for good reason, Lough Currane was on the wild and quiet side this day and that is not surprising with a strong NW wind blowing with heavy showers and good cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 2.2mm.Maximum air temperature 17.4c.
