17/1/19  Happy New Year to you all and Tight Lines on this opening day of the 2019 Season. So straight to the facts, there were 12 Boats manipulating and sadly there were no Spring Salmon caught this opening day but it was great to hear, Cahersiveen and Currane Angler Mr. Steven Donnelly, while trolling with his good friend Mike, caught 3 Kelts and 3 Trout and were safely returned and staying in the Kelt department, local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught 1 Kelt and again safely returned.
