5/8/19

Mrs. R J Appleby
1965
5/8/19 There was a nice flood on the Inny yesterday, so you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know where the majority of the Currane Anglers were today ? Or should I say the C&R Inny Anglers who I might add were as quiet as the Currane anglers if you get my drift and on that note we will head for those were the days on the River Inny and if you can’t remember what a good Inny Salmon looks like here’s a picture of My Mother in the Butler Arms Hotel holding a fine 12 lbs. Salmon that she caught on the Inny in 1965. Wind strong SW with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather amount of rainfall 18.8 mm. Maximum air temperature 17. 7 c.
