Breaking News Fish for
2019
Bob

13/10/19 In last nights report I failed miserably in my duties by not mentioning Fish of the year, yes guilty as charged, so lets put the record straight. Fish of the Year goes to renowned Gillie Mr. Bob Priestly, who caught and released a cracker a of 10 lbs.3 oz Sea Trout on the fly

12/10/19 Well it’s that time of year again as the Currane Anglers take to the Currane waters for their last cast this 2019 season and Cork Currane fly Angler, Mr. Paul Lawton and his party of seven Currane fly Anglers caught a good few Brown Trout and two fine Juniors and for the rest of the Currane fly Anglers it was all quiet. Wind SW light with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 14.3 c. As I said the Currane fly and trolling anglers have finished their lines for this 2019 season and the same goes for me in the reporting department. So I would like finish this 2019 season by thanking all you good people who read the Waterville Fishery report every day, I would also like to thank all the team at www.fisheriesireland.ie and Mr. Paul Burke of the Trout and Salmon magazine and Mr. Tony Gosnell of the Irish Examiner. On that note I look forward to be reporting to you all in 2020 on No Spin No Fly’s just Facts zone. So  Happy Christmas to you all and I hope you all have a great 2020 Season in all departments.
