Memories on
Lough Currane
2018

28/4/20 All quiet on all fronts. Wind NW light with reasonable cloud cover at times. Yesterday’s weather, maximum air temperature 13.2 centigrade. On that note we head for memories past on Waterville Lake. Today’s story is by Currane and French angler, Michel Allonsius. Hello Vincent. During the month of May 2018, I was fishing on a boat accompanied by Dominic my ghillie. In the afternoon Dominic showed me the manifestation of salmon. Immediately I launched my fly and after a few moments I took a salmon that was hanging. A few minutes later another salmon caught the fly and the battle could begin. The sequence was filmed because I had started the shooting which I attach. I see this sequence of France again because I was deprived of a trip in 2020 which allows me to get back into the atmosphere of the lake which left me with exceptionally good memories. Kinds regard. Michel Allonsius France.  so keep those memories and photos coming in all you Currane Anglers and at salmonandseatrout@gmail.com
