 On February 25, 2025. There were no notable activities reported by the Currane anglers. Despite this, I am pleased to share some positive news: Mr. Patrick Fogarty of Centra, Waterville, is sponsoring the Ernest Appleby Cup for the Currane angler who catches the largest Salmon during the 2025 Salmon season, along with a €100 voucher for the season. Anglers are reminded to present their catch at Fogarty's Centra as proof.   

The weather today featured fresh winds from the west-northwest, shifting to the west, accompanied by heavy showers at intervals. Yesterday's weather data recorded a rainfall amount of 2.2mm, a maximum air temperature of 11.2°C, and 6 hours and 7 minutes of sunshine.
