A variable gentle North wind did its best to keep everyone guessing, veering NNE, NNW, W, and finally SW, a proper merry‑go‑round of directions. This was accompanied by a fine mixture of sunshine and cloud cover, the sort of day where you’re never quite sure whether to reach for the sunglasses or the raincoat. Yesterday’s weather: rainfall 1.2mm, maximum air temperature 19.2°C, and, wait for it, 0.9 minutes of sunshine.
