No reports of any real rod benders, or you could say that we Anglers failed miserably in our duties in procuring my noble gentlemen the Salmon.

Not a lot to be said on the Salmon front, but to be fair to we Anglers, Lough Currane is on the low side and because of this my Noble Gentlemen the Salmon is in a rather lethargic mood, and to all you Trout Anglers the Duck fly is on the move and I don’t think it will be long before the first Specimen Sea Trout is caught? Wind NW light with reasonable cloud cover.

Not a lot to report and that is not surprising because we had the same dose of weather as we had yesterday, so we will head out to Sea, With Mr Ivor O’Connor and Mr. Kevin Brain for a bit of Kayak Bass fishing and sadly thy didn’t do much better out in Ballinskelligs Bay but it’s a good crack to learn more go to www.kbfishingireland.com

All quiet in the SW front. On the weather front, the same as yesterday.

It was hard work out there on Lough Currane today for Mr. Dave Ecclestone of the UK, but eventually his hard work of flogging his flies into the ledge paid off when he caught a fine 11lbs Salmon late this evening, Dave was with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan and www.Vincentsfishing.com
