There was some Great action in specimen Seatrout department, first to hit the head lines with a great Seatrout of just over the 8lbs 4Oz caught on the fly, out at the Black Rocks, was Mr. J Hoppenot of France fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestly, and in the hired out boat department, a guest caught a specimen Seatrout of 8.5lbs and there was also a fine Seatrout 4.5lbs caught by an angler also fishing in a hired out boat, and in the Salmon department Mr. Hubert of France caught a fine 8lbs 8ozs Salmon on the fly while drifting for Seatrout, with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea. Wind W then veered NNW with reasonable cloud cover.
