There was some fine action on the Waterville Fishery today, I will start on the famous Butler Pool and of http://www.watervillegolflinks.ie/ Mr. Michael Wright of the UK caught 2 Salmon on the fly, ranging from 7lbs up to 9lbs, and after conquering the Butler Pool, Michael and his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea, went upstream to Lough Currane and put their rods out, and it wasn’t long before they caught a fine 5lbs Grilse on the troll, and just for the record Mr Michael Wright only kept one Salmon, staying with my Noble Salmon, Mr. Dan Sugrue of Waterville and Tralee, caught a 6lbs Grilse and Sea Trout on the fly, with his Gillie Mr. Brod O’Sullivan. Now to the Sea Trout department, Dutch angler, Mr. Tim Valderlaan caught 10 Sea Trout with his Gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Snr.
