16/2/15 The Waterville Hatchery came up trumps again when Local Gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Snr, caught a fine wild Atlantic Waterville Hatchery 9 lbs. Salmon on the troll, so here are the Waterville Fisheries Scores, Hatchery 2 Rivers 1. Wind NW fresh with showers. Now to the back date department. Yesterday 15/2 Mr. Noel Clancy of Dublin and Waterville, caught 3 Kelts on the troll. On a reporting note it’s a pity other Anglers don’t take a leaf out of Noel’s book and report their action and there is a good reason, it also gives the reader an idea on the spawning front, not that is a precise monitor but its better than nothing.
