11/5/16

11/5/16 I start in the apology department, in two reports of the last few days I have spelt a renowned Anglers name wrong so lets put the record straight, I apologise to Mr. Alistair Dunbar for this clerical error and as Alistair politely told me its not Mr. Alistair Finbar, its Mr. Alistair Dunbar and I stand corrected and forgive the pun, I made myself look like a right Dumbbell. Now for today’s action, all the head lines go to UK angler Mr. Dave Eccelstone, while fly fishing with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan of www.vincentsfishing.com caught a fine 9 ¼ lbs. Salmon, on the photographic front, both anglers seem to be photo shy. On the weather front it made a reasonable flood last night, amount of rainfall 23.7 mm. Lough Currane was on the calm side this morning and come afternoon there was a nice breeze from the NW with good cloud cover at times.
