21/7/19 Well the Currane Anglers couldn’t Rise to the Challenge today and for good reason the wind was wild from the SW and overcast. As the Currane Anglers headed for the Bars to watch the charge and Rise of Ireland’s Shane Lowry who swept his fellow golfers away and won the British Open Championship by six strokes, on - 15 and won the Claret Jug in style at Royal Portrush, so congratulations to Shane Lowry on a historic Win and 69 years in the making, well worth waiting for !
