26/7/19 At last the Waterville Fishery got a good heavy down pour and in the words of Local Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com  and I quote, yes it was a very good flood, hopefully that will rise a few anglers into action as well as the Currane Salmon and Sea Trout and talking of Sea Trout, Currane fly Angler, Dr. Tim O’Connor of Waterville and Cork, caught and released a fine 2 ½ lbs. Sea Trout today, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of   www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com  Wind West and bright and sunny all day. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall. 22.8 mm. Maximum air temperature 20 .3 c.
