16/4/2024. www.fishingwithdom.com Reports that there were six boats out and all lines were slack this day. Wind NE fresh, followed by the odd shower. Yesterday’s weather, amount of rainfall 3.0 mm, amount of sunshine 7.7, maximum air temperature 11c. Now we head again for the Upper lakes Saga, when you read this comment, it’s quite clear why anglers from all over the World support the Honest and Mad fishermen.

Phil the stage is yours, Jerry, I do hope it all gets resolved as soon as possible. It would be great to get some new Mad Fisherman YouTube videos of the mountain lakes back online. It’s worth mentioning that during the long months of the COVID lockdown the brilliant archive of Vincent Donnelly’s videos kept many anglers sane & provided a very much appreciated source of entertainment during a very difficult time. These videos really portrayed the Waterville club, the magnificent Lakes and friendly farmers etc in such good light. It was amazingly good publicity. It seems such a shame that it has now come to this. So, I’d like to think that the club committee will be “big enough” and show some common sense and agree to go back to the way things were……. Maybe they need to sit down and take a deep breath and calmly think about it. Or perhaps have a wee Jamesons Whiskey, “For the Chest of course” 😂😂😂.  Come on lads get it sorted.
