23/9/14

23/9/14 We start on the north side, at the Bungalow, first in the striking fly zone was Mr. Jim Sayers of Waterville with 3 Juniors to his rod, also in good form at the Bungalow was Mr. Anthony O’Sullivan and friends, who caught 2 Sea Trout. Now we cut across the Lake to the south side and the hired out boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. John Keeshond and Wynn, caught 6 Sea Trout, ranging from Junior class up to specimen class of which was 6 lbs. Also in good form was Erni and RenĂ©e, who caught 4 Sea Trout from Junior class up to 2 lbs. while fishing with their Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com Now we head back to the Bungalow, Mr. Lindsay Richards of the UK, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com  was in good form in the fly C&R department with 3 Sea Trout ranging from Juniors up to 1 ½ lbs and last but not least, Mr. Peter Liddel, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught 1 Sea Trout in the 2 ½ lbs class. Wind WNW light with rain late this afternoon but not enough to tickle my Noble Game Fish’s taste buds?
