25/3/15 Lough Currane was on the wild side with a strong SE blowing across the lake but this didn’t deter a couple of boats venturing out, they may have been mad? but at least one angler came up trumps in the trolling department, with a lightening fresh 8 lbs. Salmon and that was local Gillie Mr. Sion Brain of www.kbfishingireland.com and by all accounts Sion had a great battle and in those conditions that’s not surprising.
