9/7/17

Alan
9/7/17 Will leave the best until last, so on that note we head for the Bungalow and the C&R fly department, Dublin angler Mr. Enrico Fantasia, while fly fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught and released a fine Sea Trout. Now to catch of the day and that accolade goes to Mr. Alan Cassidy and for good reason, Alan caught his first ever Salmon Grilse on Lough Currane this morning, so congratulations and may it be first of many and as every Game angler knows nothing like your first Salmon and believe it or not I can’t remember mine and why do you ask yourself ? Well it’s simple, I was only 4 years old and it was on the famous Butler Pool in 1963. Wind West light with good cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air
 temperature 18.2c.
