Axel ZurBrugge
22/4/17 We start with the Sad news that Lough Currane has lost another great Angler, Mr. Jim Linehan of Kanturk RIP Co Cork and Ballinskelligs, sadly past away yesterday and on behalf of all the anglers of Waterville and the good people of Kerry we send our sincere sympathies to all his Family and friends. Jim Fished Lough Currane for many years and loved fishing out on the Sea especially Ballinskelligs Bay and not forgetting the Lakes of Killarney, all I can say is one thing, Jim you maybe gone but you certainly won’t be forgotten. Now today’s action and it all comes from the Bungalow, German angler, Mr. Axel ZurBrugge fishing out of the Butler arms   caught a fine 9 ½ lbs. Salmon on the troll, while fishing with his gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com and for the rest of the angling community they just watched with envy. Wind W light to calm this morning and light to fresh in the afternoon. Yesterdays weather . Maximum air temperature 15.7c.
