26/4/17 Today was Father and Daughters Day on Lough Currane and for good reason, Aemilia Timmermans, while fishing with her Father Mr. William Timmermans of Holland and Waterville and fishing out of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com  caught two fine Salmon on the troll and both were in the 7 lbs. class, staying with the Dutch connection, Mr. Tim Van Der Laan of Holland, caught a fine Sea Trout on the fly, while fishing with his gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Snr and for the rest of the participating anglers all failed miserably in their duties. Wind NNE light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover and cold but at least one boat was on fire with activity. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 2.0mm, Maximum air temperature 9.7c
