14/3/18 Raging floods and strong gale force wind were the order of the day and one could say Lough Currane was on lock down until this evening when wind dropped. A couple of boats ventured out and there were no reports of any rod benders. Wind SSE strong and overcast with heavy rain until this afternoon and as you can see by the photos that was some flood. Wind as already stated, Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 4.9mm. Maximum air temperature 10.7c.
