20/3/18

Wild Atlantic Way!
20/3/18 Lough Currane was all quiet on the SW front in all departments as my Noble Anglers were frozen out again as temperatures rose but sadly the Wild Atlantic Salmon stayed deep. Now for some fly news which I’m sure all you fly anglers will be interested in, the first hatch of Duck fly was seen today, so on that note I would head for the Black Point for a drift or a hold on the old oars would even be better. Bright sunshine all day and very cold when you take the wind chill Into account. Wind NE then veered NW light and variable. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 5.4c.
