21/3/18

Riobert
21/3/18 Lough Currane came up with two Salmon both in double figures, so lets get today’s action. First in the striking zone was local angler Mr. Robert Elson of http://thecrescentwaterville.ie/ caught a cracker of 12 lbs. Salmon on the troll while fishing with his good friend and local angler Mr. Brod O’Sullivan and staying with Robert’s fine Salmon, Robert was telling me that he had one almighty fight with his 12 pounder as it took 4 massive jumps but as Robert said I was well in control and it wasn’t long before Brod had one swipe of the net and the battle ended. Now we head for the Bungalow, Cork and Waterville Angler Tim O’Connor, takes fish of The day with a mighty 13 lbs. Salmon, while Fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of  www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com News just in, last but not least, local Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com  caught a fine 10 lbs. Salmon on the troll.
Wind SW light and variable and plenty sunshine. Yesterdays weat
her, maximum air temperature 7.4c.
