Lough Currane was on the slack side, so we head straight up too the upper Lakes and Lough Derriana and the C&R department, Mr, David Burton, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and @ tomfishing@eircom.net  caught 5 Sea Trout ranging from Juniors up to 2lbs.

Mr. Mike Teahan, the matador of the Bull ring Tralee

Straight too the Sea Trout department, Mr. Liam Ellis, of Waterville, caught a 2lbs Sea Trout on the drift, and for the rest of the anglers fishing on Lough Currane, they are all barred for their lack of Sea Trout, I know the feeling, and Cronenburg is the only beer able to do this, on that note we head for the Spinner and Salmon department, Dr. Jim Comerford caught a fine 5lbs Grilse, on the troll, now we head up stream too the Commeragh River and the Sea trout department, Mr. Mike Teahan, the matador of the Bull ring Tralee, caught 2 fine sea Trout on the Garden fly.

Mr. Mark Doorman from Cork, caught 2 Juniors, with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley, and to be fair it was fairly rough out there on the Lake, with a strong gusting SW wind, then veered NW with heavy showers at times, and just for the record very few anglers ventured out.

Mr. Patsy Quilligan of Cork and renowned Angler on both sides of the County, was in good form again with 2 Sea Trout ranging from 2lbs up to 3lbs and finished his day off with a fine Brown Trout and just for the record all fish were sportingly returned.

now for today's facts.
There was a strong squally SSW wind blowing across the Lake, and here are the Waterville game fishing results, renowned Cork Angler Mr. Patsy Quilligan was in good form in the C&R Sea Trout department, with 4 Sea Trout up to 4lbs, a Guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of www.fishingwithdom.com caught 2 Sea Trout. Wind as already stated and overcast with the odd heavy shower.

Mr. Terence Wharton’s Boat, and his guest caught 7 Sea Trout ranging from Juniors up to 4lbs

Now for today's facts.
straight too the Sea Trout department, A guest, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of www.fishingwithdom.com caught two fine Sea Trout ranging from 2lbs up to 5lbs on the fly, also in good form was Mr. David Burton fishing with his Gillie Tom O’Shea and @ tomfishing@eircom.net   caught a fine 2lbs Sea Trout, which he sportingly put back my Noble Sea Trout, too fight the elements of the upcoming spawning season, Now we travel across the Valley too the River Inny, there was a nice spate coming down the river,  Local Gillie Mr. Mike O’Dwyer caught a fine Salmon and released my Noble Gentlemen Salmon so he could also do his duty in the upcoming spawning season.

26/8/12 Lough Currane was on the quiet side, with a SSW fresh wind, just for the record it was reported to me today that there were a few nice Sea Trout caught in the last few days, by anglers fishing out of Coffee’s Bay.

In the Sea trout department a guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of www.fishingwithdom.com  caught a fine 3lbs Sea Trout. Now we cut across the Vallye too the River Inny and catch of the day, and that goes too Mr. Tim Luddy of Co Cork, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com caught 3 fine Salmon and just for the record there was a good spate coming down the Inny, and there were a few Anglers manipulating up there and either they failed miserably in catching my Noble Salmon, or, and I am sure is the case they have failed too report their catches and the same goes for Lough Currane.

I Sart with a backdate 0n the 16th of August, Mr. Pat Kennedy caught a fine Sea Trout on the fly in the 5lbs class on the Lake, now we go upstream too the Commeragh River, Mike The Matador of the Bull ring Tralee caught a fine 5lbs Sea Trout on the Garden Fly. Now today's facts, A guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught 2 Sea Trout. Now we head upstream too Lough Derriana, Mr Chris O’Sullivan fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and @ tomfishing@eircom.net caught 2 Juniors. Sandy and Collin

Again the Watervile Fishery came up trumps, so lets go straight too the action in the Salmon department, and my Salmon of the day, that goes too 9 year old,Master Sandy Innes of Edinburgh Scotland, who caught his ever Salmon, weighing in at 6.5 lbs and may it be the first of many, then it was the turn of his Father, Mr Collin Innes who finished their day off with a fine Grilse of 5 ¼ lbs, both Salmon were caught on the troll and their Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of www.fishingwithdom.com was telling me that Sandy, caught his first Sea Trout on the fly, yesterday and finished his day off with a Brown Trout, also caught on the fly, so you can say Sandy, captured the grand slam of fishing. Now too the hired out boat department of Waterville Boats and @ watervilleboats@gmail.com in the specimen Sea Trout department, Mr. Tommy Duffy of Co Fermanagh caught a fantastic 9.2lbs Sea Trout on the fly. Wind SW fresh with reasonable cloud cover, with the odd light shower.

Straight too the Sea Trout department Mr. Ger Fogarty caught 2 Sea Trout, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com now we head down stream too the famous Butler Pool and of www.watervillegolflinks.ie and catch of the day, and that goes too renowned Local Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan and @ watervilleboats@gmail.com and his Guests,  Mr. John Hammond of Dublin caught 3 Salmon ranging from 3lbs up to 5lbs, Mr. john Parkinson of Stoke on Trent of the UK caught 2 Salmon ranging from 3lbs up to 5lbs, and just for the the record they were fishing out of www.butlerarms.com so congratulations too them all on a fine catch. Wind WSW fresh too strong with reasonable cloud cover.

Straight to the Salmon department, Mr. Heinz Stratmann of Germany caught a fine Grilse on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com Now too the Sea Trout Departments, Mr. Terence Wharton Junior caught 2 Sea trout, ranging from Junior class up to 3lbs and his father Mr. Terence Wharton Snr. Caught 4 Juniors and staying with the Sea Trout, the Lough Lein Anglers had their Sea Trout competition on Lough Currane and as you can see Mr. E. McCarthy was the outright supreme fly Angler, and just for the record I will give all other anglers names later. Now we head upstream too Lough Derriana, Mr. Eddie Blanche and Ivor from Co Laois, caught 25 Juniors with their gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and of tomfishing@eircom.net  Wind SW fresh and overcast.

Lough Currane was the quiet side after yesterdays storm force winds so we head across the Valley and too the River Inny just a few Sea Trout caught but nothing that would hit the RTE News Headlines, so we will head down stream and out too the Atlantic Ocean, Mr. Kevin Brain and of www.kbfishingireland.com caught a good few Bass and here is sample of his expertise, Wind SSE fresh with reasonable cloud cover.

Waterville Fishery was virtually at a stand still because of the storm force SE Wind blowing, even though a couple of boats did get out first thing this morning but it wasn’t long before all boats headed for dry land, but at least one Angler did see some good action in the Sea Trout department, Mr. Tom Duggan fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy and of www.fishingwithdom.com caught 8 Sea Trout ranging from Juniors up to 4lbs and just for the record, anglers couldn’t fish the Inny until this evening, because there was a massive flood coming down the river. Wind as already stated.

On Lough Currane, Mr. Mackintosh of Scotland fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and @ tomfishing@eircom.net caught one Junior on the fly, now we head down stream too the Famous Butler Pool and @ www.watervillegolflinks.ie Mr. Derek Batchelor of the UK, caught a fine Salmon this evening while his Gillie was having his Dinner at home, all I can say his Gillie ought to be ashamed of himself and for more information on this Gillie go to www.salmonandseatrout.com Now we go up to the River Inny, Mr. Ivor O’Connor caught a fine 6lbs Grilse on the fly and he also lost one. Lough Currane two day, fly-fishing Championship got underway and I can tell you it was hard out there with very little action, but I will leave all the facts until  tomorrow when my Noble Angler will Crowned, so let the battle commence, else where there was just the odd Junior caught. Wind SE light too fresh with bright sunshine all day and very warm.

Mr. Andrew Brown was in good foe again in the Salmon department when he caught a fine 5lbs Salmon on the fly with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley. In the Sea Trout department renowned Cork Angler Mr. Patsy Quilligan had a reasonable good action this August Bank holiday with 8 Sea Trout of which the best was in the 3lbs class and rose 3 Salmon and lost a cracker of a Salmon, when asked what went wrong, Patsy, replied in real Cork Fashion I will leave the rest too you imagination, staying in the Sea trout department Mr. Gerry O’Sullivan of Cork caught 1 Sea Trout in the Junior class, now to the hired out boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. Barry Keenan caught a 1.5 Sea trout. Wind NW light with reasonable cloud cover.

All the Salmon head Lines go to Dr. Tim Gleason, who caught Two salmon on the troll with his gillie Mr. Mike O’Dwyer, and they finished their day off with two Sea Trout caught on the fly. Also in good form in the sea Trout Department, was Mr. Andrew Brown, who caught 2 Sea trout on the fly, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley, and staying with the Sea Trout it was reported to me that other anglers were catching a few Juniors. Now we cut across the Valley too the River Inny, there was a 5lbs Grilse/ Salmon caught on the garden fly, by Mike the Matador of the Bull Ring Tralee. Wind N light and overcast with the odd light shower.

Overcast with heavy showers throughout the day.

Mr. Dave Ecclestone of the UK fishing with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan and of www.vincentsfishing.com caught a fine Salmon on the fly and finished their day off with 2 fine Sea Trout in the 2lbs class, and Dave was telling me that it was wild out there, with a strong WSW wind blowing and he gave Vincent his Gillie full credit for holding the boat in those wild conditions, so he could catch my Noble Salmon, all I can say praise indeed. Made Another reasonable flood this morning, so we will head out onto Lough Currane, sadly my Noble Anglers failed in their duties on the day shift, on the evening shift still waiting for the odd report, so now we head across the Valley too the River Inny and there was a fine 9lbs Salmon caught by Mr. Michael Roden, as always Michael was fishing with his Gillie Mr. Junior Scully. or I should say the King of the River Inny and I have spoken by the authority of Mr. Junior Scully
