22/4/14 There was some good action in the trolling department on Lough Currane today and first in the striking zone was local angler Mr. Brod O’Sullivan, who caught a Salmon in the 8 lbs class. Now for catch of the day and that goes Mr. J. Hamilton and his son, and for good reason, while fishing with their
Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of
www.lakelandshouse.com caught a fine 12 lbs Salmon and finished their day off with the first Grilse this season, weighing in at 6 lbs. Now to the C & R department Local Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley caught a fine 6 lbs salmon on the troll and after a good battle Bob sportingly put my noble Salmon back to fight another day. Wind E then veered SE light and overcast.
