McSweeney party and guests having a leisurely  lunch on Church Island. A few trout were caught between courses.

30/9/15 Well as we all know today was the last day of the 2015 Salmon season and you can say without any fear of contradiction that my Noble Salmon Anglers failed miserably in their duties in procuring the Wild Atlantic Salmon and I can tell you my Noble Sea Trout anglers didn’t fair much better but as I say that at least a couple of boats did see a bit of action, Mr. Neil O’Shea of reported just one Trout to his boat, staying with the Sea Trout fly department, UK angler Mr. Dave Eccelstone caught a fine 3 lbs Sea trout and his good friend and fellow angler Mr. Ken Towner of Waterville and the UK was telling me that their party also caught a few Juniors. Wind SE light with bright sunshine all day.
