7/2/11 All quiet on the SW front in all departments and just for the record there has been 55.4mm of rain in the last two days

Rough yesterday and calm today with heavy rain this afternoon, on the Salmon front the same result, Anglers 0 my noble Salmon won the day.

Lough Currane was at a stand still with gale force winds from the SW or put it this way it was a day for the high stool.

Lough Currane was on the wild side with a strong SW wind, with heavy showers blowing down the Lake. Local Gillie Mr. Bob Priestly reported to me that he caught 3 Kelts before he headed home.

All quiet on the SW front after yesterday’s first salmon of the season. Wind W then veered SW light to fresh, with reasonable cloud cover.
