28/8/2025

August 28, 2025: The Currane anglers remained inactive today, which is understandable given that the catch-and-release River Inny experienced a healthy flow following last night’s rainfall. It is reasonable to assume that many anglers focused their efforts on the Inny, including the Cork angler who was seen fishing there this afternoon. The same can be said for the Commeragh River. The Waterville fishery weather chart reports wind from the west, shifting to west-northwest, with conditions ranging from fresh to moderate. There was considerable cloud cover. Rainfall measured 12.3 mm yesterday, the maximum air temperature was 16.7°C, and sunshine duration totalled 2 hours and 1 minute.
