Straight to the poaching department, I see on http://www.loughcurrane.com/ that on the higher Lakes, there was some action, and the facts are as follows, Mr. Vincent Donnelly, caught a few Juniors and added 2 Brown Trout in the 1.5lbs class, now we head down steam to Lough Na Mona, Mr. Chris Watson fishing with his Gillie Mr. Roger Baker, caught 2 Juniors. Now to Lough Currane, just a few Juniors caught but no real rod benders, I say no rod benders, you try and tell that to Mr. Ger McCarthy and party, fishing in a hired out boat, they caught 12 sea trout raging from Juniors up to 1.¾ lbs, now we head down stream to the Butler Pool, Cork angler, Mr. Anthony Buckley, caught a 4lbs Grilse, which gave Anthony the Grand Slam of fishing, because in the last few days , he has caught a Salmon on the Commeragh River then headed down stream, and caught a Grilse on Lough Currane, and finished his grand slam on the Butler pool.
