Andy
60 years worth waiting for Bob and many more to come
14/7/14 The 60 year long wait for Mr. Bob White of the UK, and fishing out of www.butlerarms.com  for his first Salmon ended today with a fine Grilse caught on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com and to end this drought  on his 70th Birthday was the Icing on the Cake so Happy Birthday and many of them in both departments. Now to Michael’s hired out boat department, Mr. Andy Wishart on Northern Ireland, caught a cracker of a Salmon on the troll in the 12 lbs. Class and Andy was telling me that he had won hell of a battle with his Noble Salmon. Now to Michael’s Sea trout backdate fly department, yesterday Mr. David Holland and party caught 2 Sea Trout of which the best was 3 lbs. Now back to the present, Mr. Keith Frances of the UK, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught 2 Juniors on the drift, which he sportingly returned, staying with the Bungalow, Mr. Paul Pipes of Switzerland caught 1 Trout o his rod, while fishing his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Now we head up the North shore a few hundreds yards, a Guest fishing with his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com caught 1 Trout. Now for Sea Trout of the day, which caught on the evening shift, and that goes to Mr. Ken Towner of the UK and Waterville and for good reason he caught a fine specimen Sea Trout in the 6 lbs class on the drift and by all counts had a great fight with his Noble Sea Trout, and thanks to Ken for taking the trouble to send the photo.
