26/9/14 Lough Currane as we all know is on the low side but this doesn't deter enthusiastic Anglers from manipulating his or her flies or lures and today was no exception, first in the C&R striking zone was UK angler Mr Rob Elson, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley, who caught a fine 4 lbs. Grilse on the troll and finished their day off with 3 sea Trout in the Junior class caught on the drift. Mr. Keith Nicklen, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com caught a fine Salmon and finished their day off with a Sea Trout. Staying with the Sea Trout, Mr. Mike Fish, caught a fine 2 lbs. Sea Trout on the drift, while fishing with his Gillie, the one and only MD, well DM your diagnoses was correct. Now for catch of the day and that goes to those renowned Luxemburg Anglers, Erni and Renée, while fishing with their Gillie Mr. Frank Donnelly of www.lakelandshouse.com caught 2 Salmon and finished their day off with 2 Sea Trout.
