Gary, I'll be back to the Waterville Fishery
12/10/20
Well today as we all know was the last day of the 2020 Salmon and Sea Trout
season and sadly the Currane Drifters did not report of any action to talk of. So,
on that note I do have a story of one very unhappy UK and Currane angler Mr. Gary W Humphrey, who I
might add was very disappointed that he could not come to Waterville this 2020
season, thanks to Covid 19, so Gary took his skills onto the Britain’s Rutland reservoir and Guided by England international
fly angler and no stranger to Ireland Mr. Craig Barr and I can tell you it
wasn’t long before Gary caught a fine Fish, you can see more photos on www.flashattackflies.com What can I say
about this Season, well I put it in a Nutshell, not a lot because of Covid 19.
Except to say a big thank you to you the followers of No
Spin No Fly’s just Facts because without you good readers and supporters of
the Waterville fishery there would be no blog and thank you for all your
fishing story’s at the beginning of the lockdown. Now another big thank you
goes to Mr. Myles Kelly and all the Inland fisheries team for their great
support and last but not least on a personal note. I must give a big thank you
to Mr. Paul Bourke of the Trout and Salmon Magazine. I think that’s about it
for this 2020 Season and let’s hope 2021 will bring our tourists back to
Ireland, especially the Waterville Fishery and I look forward to reporting to
you on the No Spin No Fly’s just Facts, so stay safe and have a very happy
Christmas and New Year.
