Eric catches first Salmon 0f 2023 on the Waterville fishery

 2/2/2023 Mr. Eric Jouen of Waterville Boats and watervilleboats@gmail.com takes all the Salmon Headlines and for good reason, yes you have it, Eric caught the First salmon of 2023 on Lough Currane and the first in Kerry and the second caught in Ireland 2023, his cracker of a Salmon weighed in at 7.5 lbs while trolling by the Bridge, you could say a bridge too far for the wild and lightening fresh Salmon as you can see by the photo of Eric, down by the lake. It wasn’t long before  Eric headed for The Waterville Inn to be presented with the Paddy Carey Memorial Cup by Joan Moriarty on behalf of The Landlord Mr. Damien Duff of The Waterville Inn. I can tell you the party didn’t finish after the presentation they headed down to the Lobster Bar and as you see all of Eric’s Family were waiting to congratulate Eric as you can see by the family photo. Wind SW fresh to strong and overcast.
