Lough Currane was on the wild side but this didn’t stop Mr. Dona McCarthy of Waterville and the USA catching a fine specimen 10lbs 3ozs Sea Trout on the fly and I believe the had one mighty battle with my Noble Sea trout, so his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy was telling me, and going by the strain on his face I would believe it, because I tell you its no joke trying to hold a boat in those conditions, so congratulations to the both of them, also in good form in the Sea trout department was Mr. Peter Twomey, who caught 3 Juniors to his rod,  fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and @ and staying with the Sea Trout Mr. John Kirwan of Dublin caught a fine Sea trout on the troll fishing with his gillie Mr. Vincent Appleby and of and just for the record we had a good crack from a Salmon bur the rascal lives on to fight another day. Wind SW fresh to strong with heavy rain at times in the afternoon.
