All the head lines come from the Bungalow on the North side of the Lake, first in the striking zone was Mr. Michael Shultz of Berlin Germany, who caught a fine 9 lbs. Salmon on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea and of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com also in great form in the fly department was Mr. Sean Smith of the UK, he caught a cracker of a Salmon on the fly weighing in at 10.5 lbs. even before his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com got on the oars to manipulate the boat, in full view of his fellow fly Anglers, my noble gentlemen jumped about six times, and Sean’s reel was echoing across the water, and it wasn’t long before Sean’s Gillie netted my noble Gentlemen, and there was one hell of a grin of satisfaction on their faces and as especially as it was their last cast of the day. Wind NNE light and very cold this morning with heavy showers at times.
