Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of
www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com Now we head for the fly department, Mr. Phil Staniforth of the UK caught a fine 8 lbs. Salmon on the fly and as his
Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of
www.fishingwithdom.com dispatched Phil’s Salmon, Dominic said, well Phil that’s your lot for today? That’s what you think said Phil, you get on the fly rod and I’ll get on the oars and fair play to Phil he did and it wasn't long before Dominic had his fly rod bent double into a fine Salmon of 8 lbs. which Phil gladly Netted. Now to the apology department, in yesterdays notes I spelt Mr. Neil Glavin name wrong and I apologise for this discrepancy and I can tell you he gave a diplomatic bollocking which I richly deserved. Wind NW strong with good cloud cover with April showers.
