16/4/15 A low Lough Currane was in bright sunshine all day with a cloud hardly insight, as we anglers know experience tells us there isn't
much chance of procuring my Noble Gentlemen the Salmon, well Lady’s and Gentlemen think again because renowned Dutch Anglers, Mr. Tim Van Der Laan and Mr. Ger Jager of Amsterdam, rewrote the rules with 2 fine Salmon caught on the troll, Tim caught a fine 12 ½ lbs Salmon while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Junior and Tim’s good friend Ger, caught a fine 11 lbs. Salmon on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Terence Wharton Snr.
