18/8/18

18/8/18 Before the weather forecast lets go straight to the action, Cork angler Mr. Martin Coveney and fishing out of www.bayviewhotelwaterville.com While fishing on the Commeragh River caught a fine 3 lbs.Sea Trout and finished his day off with a cracker of a 4 lbs. Sea Trout and Martin also reported that he lost a fine Salmon in the 10 lbs. class and just for the record all his fine Sea Trout were put back and the Salmon put himself back, you could say a well satisfied angler and there is no argument to that. Now we head down stream to the Big Lake/Lough Currane and down the North Shore to the Bungalow, US Angler Mr. Michael Quinan caught a fine 4.½ lbs. Salmon/ Grilse on the troll while trolling with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind SW fresh and overcast with misty rain throughout the day. Yesterdays weather Maximum air temperature 16.5 c.
