John and Michael
French delight
Lough Currane was a bit quieter today, mind you Mr. John Enright of Kilkenny and his Gillie Mr. Michael O’Sullivan of Waterville Boats and at watervilleboats@gmail.com would beg to differ and for good reason they caught 2 fine Grilse on the troll between them. Now to the total Sea Trout fly department, local Gillie Mr. Eric Jouen at watervilleboats@gmail.com caught 1 Junior on the drift. Now to the hired out boat department of www.lakelandshouse.com Mr. Dave and John Cronin caught 3 Juniors on the drift. Now we head across the Valley to the River Inny Local Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com caught a 12 lbs Salmon on the fly. Staying with the Inny, French Anglers fishing out of www.kbfishingireland.com caught a fine 5 lbs. Salmon early this morning then headed for the Atlantic coastline for a bit of Bass fishing and caught 11 Sea Bass, not bad considering it was their first time fishing for the Salmon of the Sea, and in the words of their Gillie Mr. Kevin Brain, what do you expect when you are with a professional as good as my self, in all departments as you would say, be it Salmon, Sea trout, or Bass fishing and you can add Kayak fishing to that, need I say more. Wind W fresh to strong then veered NW light to fresh and overcast.
